Ever had bland chicken that you didn’t want to finish?? Yeah me too….so I’ve been getting creative with my chicken recipes and have made one that is sooooo good! Husband approved too 😉
It’s simple and easy. It takes about 30 minutes to make! It’s also high in protein, too.
Ingredients
2-3 chicken breasts
Flour
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup low sodium chicken stock
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
Directions
Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a medium sized bowl, add flour to coat the chicken.
Heat the oil in a pan. Add the chicken to cook on one side until it’s almost halfway cooked. Flip over and cook until it’s almost fully cooked.
While the chicken is cooking, let’s make the sauce! Combine the honey, chicken stock, rice vinegar, and light soy sauce to a bowl and stir
Add the sauce to a pan and turn heat to medium high so the honey doesn’t burn. Cook until you no longer see pink in the middle
Add to a bed of rice and veggies or a baked potato with veggies.
Enjoy!
