Hey! I’m Christina, and your anti-diet coach who shows you how to lose weight without EVER dieting.
If you want to learn how to stop dieting and lose weight, you’ve come to the right place!
As of recently, losing weight is frowned upon because it “shows” you don’t love your body, but that’s not true! As long as you have the right mindset around losing weight then there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. Especially if it makes you feel confident in your body.
These tips will set you in the right direction to end dieting once and for all.
It’s easy to get swept up into the oh-so-promising diets, but the majority of them end up in you gaining the weight back, feeling miserable during the process, and not sustainable. Your ultimate goal is to lose weight without feeling miserable for eating pizza for dinner and chocolate ice cream for dessert. I know you’re tired of cycling through diets and hoping one sticks but trust me when I say nothing is going to “stick” because they aren’t sustainable for YOU.
Think back to your past experiences with dieting and let go.
Make them REALISTIC. If you know deep down you can’t workout 4 days a week, try working out for 3! If you aren’t sure, give yourself a trial-and-error period to figure out where your happy medium is. Don’t set expectations until you figure out how many times you can make it to the gym/at home workouts.
From my experience to talking to several women, they set unrealistic expectations and try to get to the gym 5 times a week….and then they feel awful towards themselves because they “failed.” Instead of setting yourself up for failure, set yourself up for success and set realistic goals!
It’s true. You can eat pizza and lose weight. Of course, there’s much more to it than “calories-in vs calories-out,” but it’s a key factor in losing weight.
The moment you tell yourself you can’t have something (chocolate, pizza, ice cream, etc), you start to crave those foods more than before. Our brains don’t like it when we deny it of something it wants. When you stop restricting yourself, you’re less likely to obsess over those foods, and you’re more likely to have less cravings.
So so important! It’s normal to be hungry when you’re losing weight. That’s because you must be in a healthy calorie deficit to lose fat. I’m not saying eat 1200 calories because that’s not the way to go. Most women who are losing weight will eat when they’re 60% hungry. Don’t wait too long though because that could lead to over eating and that’s not what we want!
When you learn how to listen to your hunger cues, you’ll know when to eat and what your body is telling you. Again, this comes down to practice and patience.
I hope these tips were helpful for you! Don’t focus so much on the scale because it’s one of many ways to measure success. You’re here so you’re wanting to learn how to lose weight without dieting. My 1:1 coaching focuses on losing weight without dieting.
